This review focuses on the potential of nanomedicine including using nanoparticles for diagnostic and screening purposes, viral detection, developing artificial receptors, DNA sequencing using nanopores, manufacture of unique drug delivery systems, gene therapy applications, and the enablement of tissue engineering.
