When the feeder cells were treated with mytomycin C for 2-3 hours, almost no proliferation of primordial germ cells was observed. These results suggest that the interaction between primordial germ cells and feeder cells for proliferating primordial germ cells was suppressed by treating the feeder cells with mytomycin C.
