description: The aim of this paper is to examine the impact of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) on firm's performance measured through Economic Value Added (EVA) analysis. The study develops four regression models to test the effect of ERM implementation on the firms' performance through Net Operating Profit After Tax (NOPAT), Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) and Return On Invested Capital (ROIC). The results of the study reveal that ERM implementation has significant positive impact in reducing the WACC and increasing the NOPAT and ROIC of the firms listed in Bursa Malaysia. This study undertook an empirical test on several hypotheses to ascertain the significance of hypothesized relationships developed in relation to the research framework. The research framework postulates a value based measurement tool in the form of economic value added analysis to gauge the firm's performance as a consequence from its ERM implementation.

abstractThe aim of this paper is to examine the impact of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) on firm's performance measured through Economic Value Added (EVA) analysis.
