To facility greatly resource storing, resource publishing, resource encapsulating and resource discovering in manufacturing grid, the paper combined STEP with XML / WSDL to depict the manufacturing resource. In the utilization of manufacturing grid system, the processes of dynamic resource encapsulating and resource publishing were analyzed based on the model.
