Treatment 2.0, led by WHO and UNAIDS, will address the need for innovation and efficiency gains in HIV programmes, such as optimisation of drug regimens, simplification of diagnosis, and adaptation of delivery systems to enable sustained universal access to HIV treatment for those who need it, as well as to maximise the preventive benefits of antiretroviral therapy.
