益气活血中药对放射性肝损伤家兔血清转化生长因子-β和内皮素-1的影响

1Objective To investigate the effects of supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation of tradition-al Chinese drugs on serum transforming growth factorβ1(TGF-β1) and endothelin-1 (ET-1) levels of rabbits with radia-tion-induced liver injury. Methods A total of 20 adult rabbits were randomly divided into the experimental group ( n=10) and the control group (n=10). All the livers of rabbits were irradiated with 50 Gy X-ray, and illuminated volume was 50% autologous liver. The experimental group was lavaged with homemade supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation of traditional Chinese drugs, while the control group was lavaged with physiological saline. The changes of ser-um TGF-β1 and ET-1 levels were observed before and after the X-ray exposure for 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks, and the patholog-ical changes of the liver tissues were also observed after all the rabbits were sacrificed on the 4 th week after the X-ray ex-posure. Results The ET-1 levels after the X-ray exposure for 1 week and TGF-β1 and ET-1 levels after the X-ray expo-sure for 2, 3 and 4 weeks in the two groups were significantly higher than those before the X-ray exposure, and TGF-β1 level 2 nd after the X-ray exposure and TGF-β, and ET-1 levels after the X-ray exposure for 3 and 4 weeks in the experi-mental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0. 05, P<0. 01). Pathological changes of the liver tissues in the experimental group were smaller than those in the control group. Conclusion Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation of traditional Chinese drugs may improve the hepatic microcirculation, slow the process of he-patic fibrosis and reduce the radiation-induced liver injury.
