The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of dietary resveratrol supplementation on meat quality, muscle antioxidative capacity and mitochondrial biogenesis of broilers. One hundred and eighty 21-day-old male Cobb broilers were randomly assigned to two groups and fed on a 0mg kg.sub.-1 or 400mg kg.sub.-1 resveratrol-supplemented diet for 21days.
